Stewardship and the Advent Giving "season"  begins now. Individually addressed envelopes are in the Narthex. If yours is not picked up Sunday, then it will be mailed on Monday. Included is information of our activities, monetary & volunteer opportunities, and your annual pledge card. Funds postmarked by December 31st will be credited towards your 2024 giving. And please return your pledge card as soon as possible so we may begin working on the 2025 budget.

Thank you so very much to everyone who contributed to the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Bicycles & tablets for the kids were primary, and coffeemakers & towels for the seniors. Your generosity is amazing!!

The Preschool Fundraiser of “Braided Pastry” is in process.  The order forms are in the Narthex and at the breezeway door.  Orders are due by Wednesday, December 11th , and will be delivered here on Thursday, December 19th .  Tiffany will contact you to make arrangements to pick them up.

The Bishop's first official visit is next Sunday, December 15th.  During Coffee Hour we will have Bill's annual "Feast of the Seven Fishes" (there is MUCH more than seafood served - it is an Italian feast including pasta). There are sign up sheets in the Narthex and at the breezeway door so Bill knows how much food to cook.

You can also sign up for name badges (complimentary) and/or Altar Flower sponsorship for 2025.

Facebook is a fun way to stay connected with the Church and its news and happenings! You can find postings from the Preschool, the Diocese, the Episcopal Church, and the National Cathedral, plus some fun and humorous items.

For December, the Food Pantry is collecting toothpaste, brushes, and denture supplies.

They need egg cartons and paper bags. There is a basket in the narthex, or you can kindly bring the items to the office.

The Food Pantry can always use some help on Fridays distributing the food. Please arrive around noon. THEY ALSO NEED SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS OR UNDERSTANDS SPANISH TO HELP WITH CHECK-IN.  The person does not need to be fluent - any help is appreciated.

Last week we served approximately 155 families – with the household average of 3.2 people, this represents 496 individuals. And multiplied by 4.33 weeks in a month, this equates to an average of 12,147 people served.  What a community impact!
